Using almost every piece of track I owned, I set up the largest layout I could fit in my small house… running all four of my G-scale model trains at the same time.
There were 180 degree turns in my guest room, master bedroom, dining room, and living room. I left it this way for about 24 hours, and you’d think my wife would have quickly gotten tired of having to walk between train tracks… but she was actually quite patient about it.
The main focus of the video is my favorite model train, a LGB 21576 Santa Fe diesel locomotive pulling passenger cars. You can also see a LGB 25554 White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad diesel locomotive pulling freight cars and a Piko 38212 AT&SF steam locomotive providing some pretty cool steam train sounds! Finally, there is also a LGB 24771 Porter Steam locomotive pulling some passenger cars… and it also doubled as the camera train for the track-level shots.
You can see from the smile on my face at 33 seconds in to the video that it’s a lot of fun to play with model trains! I just wish I had a bigger place to set them up! Video Rating: / 5
